THE TRIANGLE. AN AMATEUR CHOIR
EVERY SECOND THURSDAY FROM 9 NOVEMBER TO 24 MAY
17:00 — 20:00
Aimed at anyone interested in taking part
An amateur choir is a creative project in which any kind of voice is welcome to come along and experiment, and to see what happens when one is in tune or off key, feeling how the walls vibrate when we do so, listening to the street as we walk and noting what we listen to in order to produce music scores, when counting infinite numbers at once with different rhythms, when reciting a poem, when singing with strange voices that do not match their bodies because they are too deep or too affected, and thus multiply the possibilities of choral work from the emotion of doing it with lots of other people.
To undertake this project we have invited artists, musicians and poets to lead creative workshops with the choir through work with the voice.
The choir will be activated by Sonia Megías.
The artist Jaume Ferrete will lead a workshop with the choir on 19, 20 & 21 December.
The artist Itziar Okariz will lead a workshop with the choir in January, coinciding with her exhibition at the museum.
Programme supported by the Daniel & Nina Carasso Foundation.
