THE FUTURE IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE
PROJECT IN COLLABORATION WITH I.E.S EUROPA
2015 — 2016 SCHOOL YEAR
Targeting secondary school students
Throughout their education every student has to take decisions that will mark his or her future. Some students decide to follow their passion and take up art. We know that the motivation and stimuli they receive during their formative years are critical in the later development of their creative abilities and to stimulate their process of learning. For this reason, we believe that it is fundamental to tighten bonds with those schools that offer art courses. We view the museum as an appendix of the school in which students and teachers can find support. In consequence, this school year we will return to a collaboration project with the art course at the IES Europa secondary school in Móstoles. We wish to bring the museum and the school closer together and to build a programme of workshops and encounters with artists aimed at students so that they can get a first-hand insight into the workings of a museum, exploring other forms of creating and of viewing contemporary proposals.
