The “But…what’s wrong with this world? It’s not finished.” Workshop is an invitation for children and adults to explore the possibilities offered by imagination to build alternative realities. Through a different use of ordinary objects and working with the body, we will initiate a process leading to the evolution of our perception of the environment. Indeed, improvisation and humour will enable to unlearn what we thought we knew and to go in depth into the unknown.
This workshop has been designed by Lilli Hartmann and the CA2M’ s educators team. Lilli Hartmann (Germany, 1976) studied Fine Art at Chelsea College and at the Royal College of Art in London. She is an artist who starts from the defamiliarization of our environment by means of mechanisms characteristic of childhood such as games, disguises or tales to activate a creative approach to the objects that surround us. For instance, the body is used in humorous actions that shake up spaces and the people involved in the experience. www.lillihartmann.com
