Liza Baliasnaja was born in Lithuania and has studied dance in Holland and Belgium. She lives in Brussels, studies philosophy and works internationally as a dancer, choreographer and dance educator. Liza is invested in her own artistic practice, currently working on the conceptual relationship between vision and cognition. In the past years she collaborated and performed, among others, with such artists as Eszter Salamon, Ula Sickle, Eglė Budvitytė, Christine De Smedt, Mårten Spångberg and DD Dorvillier.
