This exhibition features a selection of works belonging to the collection owned by the CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo. A large proportion of them are recent acquisitions and are on display for the first time. Many are photographs, but videos, drawings and other media are also included.

The selection of works on show emphasises art’s capacity to challenge reality, questioning the way it is organised and highlighting its contradictions. Many works also explore the function of art itself, its limits, its role in a world teeming with information and its mission as a generator of reflection.
