Julim Rosa is a queer artist working in a range of medias — including installation, performance, video, sound, drawing and tattoo.
Being in direct contact with the context is an integral part of her creative process. She has worked in different collaborative and collective projects, such as "La Sin Futuro" (Buenos Aires, 2012/14) and participated in residencies in Switzerland, Berlin, London, Quito and Buenos Aires.
After studying fine arts at Saint Martins University, London, she was trained as a tattoo artist. Since then she has integrated this media into his production. Since 2016 she lives and works in Berlin, investigating the intersection between contemporary art and tattoo, and exploring mainly the concepts of permanence and temporality.
