Paula Anta's work has been shown both in individual and collective exhibitions as well as in institutional venues such as the Contemporary Museum of Madrid (CA2M), Tabacalera Cultural Contemporary Centre, Matadero Centre for Contemporary Creation , Complutense University Art Centre, Alcobendas Art Centre, Fine Arts Circle, America House, Royal Botanic Garden of Madrid, San Fernando Art Academy, Canal de Isabel II (Madrid), Barcelona Contemporary Culture Centre, La Laboral City of Culture (Gijón), Niemeyer Centre (Avilés), DA2 Domus Artium Museum (Salamanca), Las Cigarreras Cultural Centre (Alicante), and several editions of the Photoespaña international photography festival.
Paula Anta has earned various awards and accolades, including the Kells Colletion Award (2019), the Estampa Regional Authority of Madrid Award (2016), runner-up at the VIII “Pilar Citoler” International Contemporary Photography Award (2015), AENA Foundation Photography Award (2010) and a special mention at the COMBAT Prize (2013). In addition, she has been granted several reputable scholarships for art creation, such as the Scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Spanish Academy in Rome (2011 - 2012), the FormARTE Scholarship for Visual Arts and Photography in the Spanish College in Paris (2012 - 2013), the Art Creation Award of the Regional Authority of Madrid (2008-2009) and the Ankaria Foundation residency programme in Senegal (2018).
