Bermúdez, whose 2017 book ‘And why are you black?’ was a turning point for the visibility of Spain’s Afro-descendant community, now presents the audio-visual evolution of his work. A choral, warm and mature feature film, in which he entrusts the camera to seven black people in Spain for them to attempt to make a film. Self-representation and doubts come together to create an intimate, fragmentary and necessarily partial portrait.
