A DRIFT THROUGH THE IDEA OF LEISURE AND FREE TIME. TUESDAY 3 OCTOBER 18:00 - 20:00

Welcome to this new cycle of Ciudad Sur (‘Southern City’). We would like to ask you to make yourselves comfortable and enjoy this journey, because throughout this programme we are going to immerse ourselves and explore the space of free time in the cities of the periphery; that territory of leisure that is offered to us as a parenthesis from the burdens of our daily lives.

Rest, relaxation, enjoyment, disconnection... in leisure we look for all kinds of ways out of what we understand as productive time in our lives, but how free are we and how productive are we, what forms and scenarios do the activities we carry out at these times take, what options can we find in a city like Móstoles? 

In this first session we will look for the clues of leisure, its imaginaries and formats in the streets of Móstoles, walking along the shores of the Costa Marrón, we are waiting for you!
