The contents published on this CA2M site must be available for use by all, regardless of personal circumstance (disability, neurodiversity, older age) or technological state (device, connection speed, environmental conditions). To change the text size, use the browser controls.
Internet Explorer: In the menu bar, select View > Zoom In or Zoom Out, or select a percentage zoom.
Firefox: In the menu bar, choose View > Zoom Text Only, clicking Zoom In or Zoom Out on the same menu. Only the text size will change; all other page elements will remain the same. If you wish to change the size of all page elements, deselect Zoom Text Only and select View > Zoom In or Zoom Out. Select Reset to return the view to the original size.
Safari: From the menu bar, select View > Make Text Bigger or Make Text Smaller. You can select Zoom In or Zoom Out from the same menu. Only the text size will change; all other page elements will remain the same. If you want to change all elements on the page, instead of clicking Make Text Bigger or Make Text Smaller, go to View > Zoom In or Zoom Out. All pages must provide text-to-speech functionality accessible through this icon to read web pages ‘out loud’, not only on a computer, but also on iPhones and smartphones including Blackberry and Android, iPads, MP3 players, PDAs, game consoles, smart TVs and Internet kiosks.
Site users will not need to download or install any software. Just click the ‘listen’ button and the reading will start automatically. If you select part of the text, a ‘play’ button will automatically appear next to your cursor, allowing quick access to the text-to-speech function for the selected text. In addition to reading the content of the page, this tool also allows you to highlight the text sentence by sentence or word by word as you read.
