This summer, the museum is turning into a space designed to combat the heat just like it’s always been done: where it’s cool, with no hurry and in good company. Inspired by those perennial places where idleness is fine, this project is turning the museum into a summer refuge where you can simply exist.

On 21 June, the museum dresses up to celebrate the grand closing of the school year.

In this last reality bite, we immerse ourselves in brain rot, the infinite scroll where time lost onscreen goes.

We have declared ourselves the mayors of that place called Picnic Sessions 2025 of the CA2M Museum in Móstoles and we’re inviting you to its annual festival.

Ciudad Sur is a space for shared experimentation in which, taking Móstoles as a starting point, we want to investigate the many faces and the many riches that generate a sense of belonging in the cities of the metropolitan area of Madrid. 

Through gallery encounters with different artists, this programme suggests an encounter that plays with uncertainty, surprise and thrills. Three times a month, the CA2M Museum invites local artists, curators or researchers to share their interests with the public to connect their practices, careers or inquiries with the exhibitions underway.

In this Universidad Popular course, we’ll turn into archaeologists of the everyday and adventurers of the infra-ordinary to set sail towards that unknown place where beyond falls the sea.

We are inviting families (neighbours, friends, chosen families, etc.) to participate in the activity that the artist Antonio Ballester Moreno has planned for the CA2M Museum.
