Here you’ll find all the educational programming and activities of the CA2M Museum for everyone: families, young people, teacher training and groups of preschool, primary, secondary and baccalaureate students.

This project, focused on education for children from 0 to 6 years of age, aims to transform the museum and classrooms into laboratories for experimentation on education and art.

The Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo is launching a study and research group on ‘Art and Seclusion’. This working group was founded with the intention of using art to inquire into the frameworks related to seclusion, including both mental health and psychiatry on the one hand, and everything related to creation under circumstances of social exclusion on the other.

THERE MAY BE FISH WHERE THERE IS NO BEACH
This summer, we’ll all be fish. The children in the summer cabin will become a huge school of fish. Fish without a sea and with just one place to swim: in the museum.

PICNIC SESSIONS 2024. [...] I went to the hills and brought back something nice for you.
In this edition of the Picnic Sessions 2024, we’re going to put our hands on the earth, ask for permission, head back to the bush. We’re going to connect with the Ashe, with gestures, myths, rites, wisdom, listening. We’re going to dance resistances and fleetingness, celebrate the differences of this living hill-Caribbean-archive. We’re going to bless ourselves with the Caribbean pica-pica before crossing the sea with the permission of the dead women who replenish it with tears every day, with the license of the blood, chains and Orishas that live there.

STROLL THROUGH ISLAMIC MADRID. BETWEEN HISTORY AND MEMORY.
This activity suggests a tour around different spaces of memory to engage in a reflection on the history and memory of Madrid in relation to concepts like identity, alterity, mestizaje and diversity.

CELEBRATION. SONGS AND SWEETS
We are celebrating the arrival of summer on 14 June, and we want to invite you to participate. It will be a kind of celebration where you can remember and enjoy a different kind of evening.

Through this announcement, we want to invite you to the project presentation, where we’ll share the results of the inquiry conducted by AMECUM, which started with an invitation from the CA2M Museum to conduct visits to the exhibitions. Thus, we wanted to engage in an open act/performance/ritual to freeze time and record the fleeting footprints of our mediations, which still exist as living spectres.
