DANCING THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
In this workshop for girls and boys from 6 to 12 years old, we will begin by investigating our body and all its possibilities in movement. We will dance in company, with time and space, and we will create a place of artistic expression enriched by the generational diversity of the group.
GROUP TOURS
We propose a group tour of the museum's exhibitions and discover what happens in each encounter. A collective experience, open to all kinds of groups on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Each tour will be different, and we will build it as we go along, generating unexpected dialogues.
DARKROOM
This class began by inviting the artist Jorge Satorre to hold a performance and education workshop targeted at teachers, educators and artists interested in education.
ENCOUNTERS IN THE GALLERY. WEEKEND VISITS
On Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings we invite you to visit the exhibitions with Madrid Negro, who will take us on a journey through the different proposals through their visit project ‘Zafra or how to harvest the revolt’.
In the search for the true and provocative of performance, painting and installation, we enter the world proposed by Sol Calero and Santiago Sierra. Through the use of poetry, sound, taste and touch, Madrid Negro invites us to transit between the different proposals to reflect on the representation of racialized bodies in contemporary art.
Here you’ll find all the educational programming and activities of the CA2M Museum for everyone: families, young people, teacher training and groups of preschool, primary, secondary and baccalaureate students.
This project, focused on education for children from 0 to 6 years of age, aims to transform the museum and classrooms into laboratories for experimentation on education and art.
The Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo is launching a study and research group on ‘Art and Seclusion’. This working group was founded with the intention of using art to inquire into the frameworks related to seclusion, including both mental health and psychiatry on the one hand, and everything related to creation under circumstances of social exclusion on the other.
