Turbid Waters is Inês Zenha's first institutional solo exhibition in Spain, a project specially curated for the first floor of the CA2M Museum.
Imagining the analysis of the social and political systems of our day through the figures of clowns, harlequins and hands does not seem at all strange in these times. It is true that the division between individual and persona has never been so relevant.
Lucía C. Pino works primarily with image and sculpture. For the past decade, the artist’s practice has largely been concerned with questioning the material and ontological inertias rooted in design, architecture and sculpture, such as attachment, solidity or durability.
UNPRETENTIOUS STATEMENTS
Rather than seeking categorical answers, these tours aim to open up a space where the experiences of both visitors and the museum teams are put into play and create networks. Using conversation, listening and the difference of perspectives, we want to reflect on what it means to tour an exhibition.
OSTRO: LIVE ARTS SERIES
The CA2M Museum becomes a place where movement is the protagonist to intertwine links between dance, performance and museum space once a month.
This project is designed to be a dialogue between three collections that operate within different territorial frameworks of the South — from Móstoles (Madrid), the Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo; from Panamá, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Panamá; and from Buenos Aires, Argentina, the home of BIENALSUR — as a way to spark different synergies through such an alliance of institutions.
COMMUNITY SUSTAINABILITY LABORATORY 2025
Huerto en la terraza is an intergenerational meeting point in which to learn, build and share knowledge for the collective creation of a new city model based on sustainability in ecological terms and the practice of good living. A space in which to devise a transition towards a world capable of facing the great challenges of the 21st century with strength.
DANCING THE NEIGHBOURHOOD 2025–2026
“Dancing the neighbourhood”, held every Tuesday evening at the Museo CA2M, is conceived as a permanent meeting space for children, a little community where the ordinary becomes special, where every gathering is an opportunity to discover something new along with other people, a feel-good place in which to explore through the body and movement.
WE LOOK FOR OURSELVES IN THE FOOTPRINTS AND OUR STEPS AREN'T THERE...
In the upcoming sessions of the Reading Group, we will explore and investigate the role of myths in all their meanings and in all their breadth. We will reflect on those stories that have been decisive in the construction of female subjectivity in order to question them and rebel against them.
