SEE YOU AT THE EXHIBITIONS!
Through gallery encounters with different artists, this programme suggests an encounter that plays with uncertainty, surprise and thrills. Three times a month, the CA2M Museum invites local artists, curators or researchers to share their interests with the public to connect their practices, careers or inquiries with the exhibitions underway.
AN AMATEUR CHOIR 2023
An Amateur Choir is a creative project that welcomes any kind of voice which wishes to participate. Besides our own experimental sessions every second Thursday, we also have sessions with artists who work with the voice and listening.
This Project emphasizes the need to work closely with the neighborhood near the museums offering long-lasting activities to generate stable, flexible and lasting relationships. For third year in a row, CA2M strengthen collaboration with Beato Simón de Rojas School, the closest one to the museum. Alongside the activities designed for the school, CA2M will also offer an extracurricular activity for Third cycle pupils. This time, filmmaker Pilar Álvarez will drive the Project together with CA2M educators.
UNDER-21 TEAM. BE PART OF THE MUSEUM
We are looking to create a group of young people from 16 to 21 years old interested in culture, art and community life. We are calling for more young people to join our team and get a strong start - sign up to discover the team!
HUERTO EN LA TERRAZA AUTUMN 2021
The Huerto en la terraza of the CA2M has been holding workshops for almost a decade. During this time, we have lived through an active process involving the participation of many different people, all of whom have made it a meeting spot based on teamwork and shared knowledge.
AN AMATEUR CHOIR 2021
An amateur choir is a creative project in which all types of voices are welcome. The choir doesn’t just sing songs but aspires to embrace all the sounds in the world.

DANCING THE NEIGHBOURHOOD 2021
Hi, I’m Galaxia La Perla. I like to express myself through dance, voguing, runway, makeup and fashion both in physical and digital spaces.
This year we will begin a new line of work in which two artists will undertake two art projects in two public centres in the suburbs of Madrid. Given the disappearance of art teaching from formal education, we consider it an interesting challenge to introduce artists into educational institutions with a view to developing multidisciplinary projects involving subjects that, in theory, are not associated with art.
