Cecilia Vicuña. Seehearing the Enlightened Failure brings together over a hundred works by poet, visual artist, and activist Cecilia Vicuña. Since the 1960s, the artist has constituted a radical perspective on the relationship between art and politics through her writing and art making.

This project is based on the need to work with the communities close to the museum through ongoing activities that will create long-lasting, stable and flexible relations. For the fifth year running we are organising a laboratory for creative after-school hours for students in the third cycle of primary school.

making a mountain out of a molehill
We invite infant and primary classes to participate in this workshop to invoke the power of clay and the liveliness of objects, where children will be mediums. This workshop is a stronghold of imagination, creation and magic, so necessary in our learning spaces.

OUT OF THE MUD
In the classroom of the CA2M Museum there are numerous ceramic pieces that were moulded by the groups that visited us during the year 2022. We invited infant and primary school classes to take part in this collective action in which we imagine an answer to this question: What can we do with those clay pieces? Leave the school and enter the museum to touch, change, break, make noise and soften.

Vegetable garden on the roof workshop 2021
CA2M’s Vegetable Garden on the Roof has been going for eight years. Over that time, we have experienced a profound process in which many different people have participated, making it a meeting point based on working together and sharing knowledge.

GOING ROUND AND ROUND IS WHAT LEAVES A MARK
We invite you to join us for a guided tour entitled “Going round and round is what leaves a mark”, where we take a closer look at the exhibition Ria, by Jorge Satorre. In this activity, as we tour the exhibition we’ll reflect on the traces, repetitions and narratives derived from our own lives.

LEAVING FEAR BEHIND
An activity designed for groups of secondary-school students that revolves around exhibitions and focuses on generating meaningful experiences and establishing a direct link between contemporary artistic practices and students, encouraging curiosity and collective creation.

WORKSHOP FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS "Y QUE TE MOJE UNA OLA ¡AY!"

Musician Nilo Gallego has created a space of experimentation, where every Tuesday, a group of local children gather. Every week, they work on listening, and learn about the possibilities of experimental sound and of expanded theater.
