BEYOND FALLS THE SEA
In this Universidad Popular course, we’ll turn into archaeologists of the everyday and adventurers of the infra-ordinary to set sail towards that unknown place where beyond falls the sea.
All cinemas were for me
Six seminal movies, six true works of art and sources of aesthetic (and ethical) pleasure. Six ethical and (aesthetic) hypotheses whose characters mutate.
Ciudad Sur is a shared experimental space begun in 2021 which, taking its starting point in Móstoles, wishes to explore the many faces and manifold riches that generate a sense of belonging in the cities within the metropolitan area of Madrid. Its second edition is called Brota invisible (Invisible Flow).
DANCING THE NEIGHBOURHOOD 2025–2026
“Dancing the neighbourhood”, held every Tuesday evening at the Museo CA2M, is conceived as a permanent meeting space for children, a little community where the ordinary becomes special, where every gathering is an opportunity to discover something new along with other people, a feel-good place in which to explore through the body and movement.
"There are other worlds, but they are in this one”. We wish to apply this sentence by the surrealist poet Paul Eluard to our neighbourhoods, to our towns and cities, to our everyday surroundings. Which is why we claim that “There are other Móstoles, but they are in this one”.
WITNESSING THE END. PEOPLE’S UNIVERSITY
Witnessing the End is a programme of excursions to places where boundary events occur, such as the end of a road, the mountains of Madrid, the botanical garden; and a conference on the impossible of conservation at the CA2M Museum.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF WITH AGUSTÍN PÉREZ RUBIO
Agustín Pérez Rubio, co-curator of the exhibition, invites us to join him on a tour to discover and talk about the various layers of the work of the US-Chinese artist Martin Wong.
Acento 2020
Acento es un programa vinculado a Artistas en residencia, cuyo fin es apoyar la creación y la investigación centradas en el trabajo con el cuerpo desde lo performativo.
