The new edition of the Open University is dedicated to communication with non-human life forms, the knowledge that these connections offer us and their possibilities in sensitive production.
PICNIC SESSIONS 2021
As a Picnic Society, the CA2M invites several curators each year to design a program for the terrace of the Center. Every Thursday from the end of May to the beginning of July our terrace will become a space in which we will develop a program of activities in which the physical and the sound are mixed with the educational and participatory.
AN AMATEUR CHOIR 2025
An amateur choir is a creative project in which any kind of voice is welcome to participate. Every other Thursday we do our own research sessions and also with artists who work with voice and listening.
WITNESSING THE END. PEOPLE’S UNIVERSITY
Witnessing the End is a programme of excursions to places where boundary events occur, such as the end of a road, the mountains of Madrid, the botanical garden; and a conference on the impossible of conservation at the CA2M Museum.
Acento 2020
Acento es un programa vinculado a Artistas en residencia, cuyo fin es apoyar la creación y la investigación centradas en el trabajo con el cuerpo desde lo performativo.
Ciudad Sur is a shared experimental space begun in 2021 which, taking its starting point in Móstoles, wishes to explore the many faces and manifold riches that generate a sense of belonging in the cities within the metropolitan area of Madrid. Its second edition is called Brota invisible (Invisible Flow).
OSTRO: LIVE ARTS SERIES
The CA2M Museum becomes a place where movement is the protagonist to intertwine links between dance, performance and museum space once a month.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF WITH AGUSTÍN PÉREZ RUBIO
Agustín Pérez Rubio, co-curator of the exhibition, invites us to join him on a tour to discover and talk about the various layers of the work of the US-Chinese artist Martin Wong.
Lo que ya se intuye
Este programa se desarrolla en paralelo a la muestra Colección XIX: Performance y propone una articulación de presencias a modo de conversación propositiva, de ensayo y estudio. A través de una serie de piezas y encuentros se tratará de convocar texturas, sensibilidades, tonos e intensidades en ese hacerse con otros que ofrece la presencia.
