THE CHOTISTÓN. NEO-ZARZUELAS FOR SPRING IN MADRID
In May several birthdays are celebrated in Madrid, and we are going to make a gift-tribute to our region. Through two workshops, the artist Clara Moreno Cela shows the public the process of her research on the identity of Madrid. In order for everyone to enjoy this activity, the first day is aimed at families, and the second and third days are aimed at teenagers and adults.

LITTLE FRIEDEL… CAN YOU HEAR ME?
In the summer of 1959 the Estonian non-fiction film producer and opera singer Friedrich Jürgenson and his partner tried to record the birdsong of a finch in order to use it in one of their documentaries. In the forest near their home Friedrich placed a tape recorder and remained silent as he tried to record the birdsong. On returning home, he played back what he had recorded.

HA-HA WALL. POSITIONAL VISITS
The artist Ángela Cuadra invites us on a guided tour of the exhibition 1502 people facing the wall, where she will approach the artist's work from the paradoxes of the gaze, the devices of visibility and concealment with which the facts are presented to us.

FURIA
To mark the occasion of its 15th anniversary, on 4 and 5 May the CA2M Museum is hosting FURIA, a Live Arts Festival whose first edition will bring together traditional flamenco and contemporary performance art.

Afro-Consciousness Festival 2022
The Conciencia-Afro (Afro-Consciousness) Festival provides a space for meeting, affectivity and thinking for the Afro community in Spain. The event combines politics, aesthetics, music, entrepreneurship and pedagogics in which all the agents involved and the organizers are members of the Afro community resident in Spain.

Todos los conciertos, todas las noches, todo vacío reúne algunos de los últimos trabajos de Ana Laura Aláez en diálogo con otros del inicio de su trayectoria. La exposición se propone como un giro al origen, ir al punto de partida para trabajar entre las fisuras de los temas que han acompañado su trabajo en los últimos veinte años.

INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY 2020
On Monday 18 May we will be celebrating International Museum Day, with this year’s theme of “Museums for Equality: Diversity and Inclusion”. Despite the fact that our doors are still closed, we will celebrate the importance of institutions like ours throughout the whole week on our social media.

Danzónico is a workshop in which we create our own carnival. We transform ourselves into sonic beings, into magnificent beasts, alongside the performing artists Ismeni Espejel and Laura Bañuelos and the musician Julián Mayorga.
